How much does a Pet  Funeral cost?
Depending on your choices, funerals can be expensive or value priced.  We offer cremation packages from $199 up to over $10,000.  While most cremations cost in the $199 - $500 range including memorial products, funerals can be substantially more.  If you wish to have a traditional funeral for your pet, it can range from $2000 or more, depending on where you live and what services you choose.

If you need to purchase cemetery property and pay the charges for a burial, you could be adding thousands of dollars more, also depending on where you live. Flowers, an obituary notice, folders or limousines, also add to your total.  Our trained staff will help you find the perfect option for you.

We are NOT in the business of upselling or capitalizing on your pain.  We are pet lovers too and want to make sure you balance what you want to do with your pet with what the costs are.  We will work within your budget to ensure the most beautiful memorial.

Can I hold a wake for my pet?
Yes.  Many of our clients use our facilities to hold a memorial service for their pet.  We will accommodate any reasonable request.  Additional charges will apply for the use of our facility and rental or purchase of a casket.

How can I avoid the high cost of a funeral?
By thinking ahead, you can make an informed and thoughtful decision about your funeral and disposition arrangements. Preplanning allows you to choose the items you want and gives you time to compare prices.  Cremation is a cost effective way to honor your pets memory.

How can I make preplanning arrangements?
Call us anytime and we are happy to discuss what options are available.

What else should I consider when preplanning?
Consider where the remains will be buried, entombed or scattered. Once a death has occurred, many pet owners find themselves emotionally stressed to make the right choices. Our trained team members will ensure they ask the questions you may not be thinking of and point you in the right direction.

Can I just tell you what kind of services I want?
Of course.  We will work with you in any capacity you need us to.  We have worked with thousands of clients and have a vast range of experiences to help you with.

What if I change my mind about the services I want?
Up until the cremation or entombment, we will honor any request you may have.

What is the Funeral Rule?

The Funeral Rule, enforced by the Federal Trade Commission, obligates funeral directors to provide written itemized prices to persons when they inquire in person and verbally if they call on the phone. The Funeral Rule also requires funeral directors to present you with a written price list with a description before you look at goods and services like caskets.

While this Funeral Rule is for human funerals, we honor this at Resting Rainbow as we believe a simple clear process is best. You don’t want to worry about remembering details when you are grieving the loss of your pet.
