Luis & Meylen Trujillo

Resting Rainbow of Orlando is proudly owned and operated by Luis and Meylen Trujillo, who have called Winter Garden home for a long time. As an independently owned and operated franchise location of Resting Rainbow Franchise, we’re all about providing caring and respectful end-of-life services for pets.

Just like many families out there, our pets are our beloved family members. We love them and can't picture our lives without them. Our journey started a few years back when we lost our two-year old poodle Lucy due to complications related to Addison’s disease. That tough heartbreaking experience showed us how much our community needed proper pet memorial services. Lucy’s memory fuels our passion, and we are thankful for the opportunity to collaborate with Joseph Castranova, CEO of Resting Rainbow Franchise to bring our exceptional service facility to Winter garden and all of greater Orlando.

Our mission? We want to be the go-to, compassionate and trustworthy pet memorial, funeral, and cremation service provider in Greater Orlando. We’re here to offer loving care and respect for your pets during a difficult time of loss, aiming to be a comforting presence and a beacon of light in your moment of darkness.

What we Value

Our why is family and opportunity. We have been wanting to make an investment on starting a family business that we can all participate in together as a family.As we have been praying and searching for the right opportunity, we ran intoResting Rainbow through one of our next-door neighbors (Hassane Alaoui). WhenLuis (unexpectedly) presented the opportunity to Meyla and the kids, everyone was so excited. We absolutely love animals, and we will be getting a chance to help people going through some of the most difficult times in their lifetime, we see an enormous market opportunity in our area. Having lost 2 pets in recent years ,there is nothing around here like Resting Rainbow. We recall having to put our deceased fur baby in the trunk and driving over an hour to a questionable facility in a not very good neighborhood. It was one of the hardest things we’ve ever done in our lifetime.

Just around the corner from where we live in Winter Garden, there are at least a dozen veterinary clinics, 2 24-hour emergency pet hospitals and 4 boarding facilities, all within a few miles radius and that are always at capacity. These are partners that we will be working with closely as we prepare for the hopeful launch of Resting Rainbow Winter Garden. Meylen’s mom and stepdad are retiring soon and will help us run the business once doors are open, so Luis and Meyla can focus on partnerships and growth as we have expansion / multi-territory aspirations.

Professional Experience

Luis is an executive and influencer in the banking and financial services industry. Luis started his career in financial services as a government regulator with the State of North Carolina Commissioner of Banks. Throughout his career, Luis has worked with and partnered with some of the biggest and most innovative payments companies in the world in varying capacities and has co-founded 2 companies himself. Currently, Luis is the Founder and Managing Partner of PAARC LLC dba. PAARC Consulting, a company that Luis founded in2017. PAARC is a boutique advisory and consulting firm for financial institutions, including banks, licensed money transmitters, lenders, and financial technology companies. Meylen is the heart and soul of our household. A former interior designer for Royal Caribbean International, Meylen paused her admirable and growing career 17 years ago to focus on the children and household due to the extensive travel that Luis had to endure in his capacities during the early days of his career. With our oldest son now preparing for college soon and our youngest daughter preparing to enter elementary school full-time, Meylen is ready to get back into action!
