Brian retired from the US Air Force as a helicopter pilot and acquisitions program manager in 2015. He had been searching for a meaningful role in his community when a franchise consultant presented the Resting Rainbow franchise opportunity. The loss of his 14- and 15-year-old rescues, Fergie and Irene, in 2024 solidified his decision to provide compassionate care and a needed service to pet owners in the Columbus area.
Brian and his girlfriend, Kristen, are lifelong pet parents, growing up with dogs, cats, and horses, and currently they have Zero, a 5-year-old Havanese, and three cats—Bubby, Derek, and Shadow. They live in the country on acreage outside of Sunbury, Ohio with their pets and teenage boys.
